Organizing Your Time During a Business Makeover

Time is an issue for every business owner, but especially for the one who is going through a critical time such as a business makeover.  During this time it is especially important that a business owner make proper use of their time in order to be the most productive.

You will need to determine what aspects of the business makeover you can handle yourself and what aspects you might choose to outsource.  Then you will want to create for yourself a schedule, a list of priorities, as well as a list of goals so that you can keep track of your progress.  Then, you will want to take advantage of some great tools to make this process a little easier for you.  Some great online tools that you might want to consider include: Google Calendar, Remember the Milk, Toggl and Gmail.

All of these online tools are free to use and will help with different aspects of your business.  Google Calendar is a great way to keep up with your daily schedule and appointments.  Its many features and capabilities make organizing your schedule a cinch.

Determining Your Advertising Needs During a Business Makeover

Having a press release written or writing one yourself is an invaluable way to promote your business after a business makeover.  Then you can use free press release distribution sites to distribute the press release, such as PR.com, NewswireToday.com and a multitude of others.  Press releases are a great way to gain exposure for your business.  They contain pertinent information that will guide the readers to your website.

Another free advertising option is the use of social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and others.  These social networking options will allow you to broadcast information about your business makeover via blog posts, bulletins, and creating groups or pages about your business. Problems that Occur During a Business Makeover

Though making over your business can be exciting it can also be a little scary as well. Problems may occur and you will want to be sure that you are ready to tackle them as they come. So set out with the mindset that you will make it work no matter what.

Some possible problems to look for during a business makeover include:

* Not refining processes correctly.
* Concentrating on the wrong areas of your business.

Hiring the wrong team of virtual assistants can be a major issue. You will want to make sure that you check out their experience, referrals and policies before agreeing to have them join your team of help.

Not refining your processes correctly can also throw a major loop in your business makeover’s progress.

Which leads to concentrating on the wrong areas of your business. There may be certain areas of your business that are perfectly fine as they are when there are other areas that need major work, be sure you pick the right ones to work on.
